Ballyraine Park Health Centre is a family medical practice located in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. It provides a range of medical services to both private and medical card patients.
The practice was established over thirty years ago by Dr Maria Murray. As the town population expanded, the practice gradually grew to become the modern primary care centre it is today. The team consists of six full-time doctors and three practice nurses – all of whom are passionate about providing healthcare services safely and confidentially.
It is a training practice affiliated with the Irish College of General Practitioners. They also teach medical students from NUI Galway and Trinity College Dublin.
Client Goals

The project's focus was to create a brand refresh and redesign and develop a modern website. The main goal was to reduce admin duties and the number of phone calls by creating an automated online booking platform for appointments, renewing prescriptions and applying for illness certificates.
What We Did
The Grofuse team designed, developed and delivered a simple yet modern, responsive and conversion-oriented website for Ballyraine Park Health Centre. After our initial research and discovery process, we quickly established the goals for this project. Google analytics data and keyword research was carefully reviewed to ensure all objectives would be met and improve organic website traffic for a higher Google ranking.
Grofuse designed new brand guidelines and implemented them to design web pages and create visual assets with strong imagery. The architecture of the website was created to ensure a smooth flow of content for visitors to navigate the site easily and quickly find the information they need. We also integrated a secure payment system using Stripe so the client can enable their existing customers to pay bills on their website securely.
The Result
The project was delivered on time and within budget. Clients can now seamlessly book online, automating many administrative duties for the medical centre.
