WHAT THEY WANTED

Izak9 is a unique, radical and innovative maths teaching and learning resource which is designed for use by school children and for the delivery of teachers’ professional development.

Izak9 is a very effective tool which has been proven by a series of academic studies to improve children’s engagement with mathematics in school. It is loved by all who use it and it was our job to tell that story. The challenge was to increase awareness of the product as the best resource on the market and its fantastic results among teachers, schools, universities, education authorities and investors.

WHAT WE DID

An overall PR strategy was created which included several campaigns with different aims. A sustained, island-wide local media campaign was devised to tell the many success stories of the teachers, children and schools who use the resource. This extensive grassroots coverage showcased the many ways in which Izak9 promotes fun, engagement and increased learning to potential customers as well as influencers in the various regions.

Several national media campaigns in Ireland, Scotland, England and the US resulted in a sizeable portfolio of published interviews, articles and TV and radio broadcasts. These have told the ever-evolving story of Izak9 and its creator Franz Schlindwein, raised the profile of the brand and promoted each of the glowing independent academic reports into its benefits.

The results of the heightened and sustained media profile over a three year period has played a pivotal role in the tremendous sales growth of this exciting product not only in Ireland and UK but worldwide.
