QuickWorks Web Design Case Study: Driving Leads for QuickBooks Services

QuickWorks Web Design Case Study

QuickWorks didn’t have an existing website. Two prominent figures in the Irish accountancy scene, Kevin Barry Accountants and Bluestone Accounting, joined forces to create the ultimate QuickBooks service for Irish business owners. They approached Grofuse to bring this new venture to life online. The goal wasn’t just to launch a website, but to build a platform that would position QuickWorks as the go-to QuickBooks service provider in Ireland and convert visitors into leads.

  • Promote their Advanced Certified ProAdvisor status with credibility and authority.
  • Promote QuickBooks license sales and the Switcher Package with 15% savings and priority support benefits.
  • Build awareness of their training, support, and migration services with clearly explained, benefit-driven messaging.
Web Design Case Study:
Web Design & Lead Generation

What We Did

Strategic Discovery

We began with a deep-dive discovery session that informed everything from structure to tone. Using a collaborative workshop format and follow-up transcripts, we helped the client unpack their brand voice, ideal customer profile, and key pain points their audience faces. This allowed us to craft a message that speaks directly to growing businesses who need clarity, not complexity.

Content Writing & Messaging

We rewrote every piece of content to sound more human, focused, and benefit-led. Every page—from homepage to support packages—uses clear, factual language that highlights what the user gets. We avoided jargon, eliminated vague claims, and instead delivered direct, actionable messaging like:

  • “Buy QuickBooks Licenses With Expert Support Included”
  • “Month-by-Month Support For Businesses That Can’t Afford A Slowdown”
  • “QuickBooks Setup Without Stress Or Surprises”

Each core service has its own landing page with embedded FAQs, callouts, and a visual structure optimised for SEO and designed to convert.

We also created a dedicated Buy QuickBooks page featuring custom forms for each license type. This included a special Switcher Package, encouraging existing QuickBooks users to transfer their license under the QuickWorks umbrella for a 15% discount and priority issue resolution.

Each QuickBooks plan had its own landing section and a tailored form, allowing visitors to quickly select what they needed. We included the QuickBooks Will Never Call in ‘Sick’ eBook gated by email, adding value and capturing leads.

A step-by-step Data Migration page detailed how users can move from software like Xero or Sage to QuickBooks with expert help, positioning QuickWorks as the safe, simple migration partner.

Design & Development

Grofuse’s design team created a minimal, clean interface that prioritised usability. The site’s layout supports intuitive browsing, guiding visitors toward service cards, discovery calls, or resource downloads. Icons and visual cues help break down information-heavy sections, while strong CTAs direct users to take the next step.

Key design elements include:

  • Homepage quick-access boxes for each core service
  • Structured testimonials and quotes
  • Owner thumbnails to reinforce trust
  • A visual ‘Our Values’ section to express the brand ethos
  • Embedded forms to capture leads in context (e.g., after listing benefits)
  • Mobile-friendly layout with fast load times

Lead Generation Setup

We added multiple lead capture touchpoints across the site:

  • Free eBook download: gated by email submission, delivering the eBook via the inbox to build the list
  • Service-specific enquiry forms: each tailored to reduce friction while qualifying the lead
  • Direct calendar integration: discovery calls are booked via Calendly with confirmation flows

All forms were mapped and styled to match the UX and integrate with backend systems.

Technical Optimisation

We ensured the website launched with:

  • Clean URL structure and semantic HTML
  • Google Core Web Vitals compliance
  • SEO metadata on every service and resource page
  • Structured internal linking and optimised headings
  • Mailchimp form integration and CRM tagging

The Result

Instant Credibility & Confidence

From the moment the new site went live, visitors were met with a crisp, professional interface that reflected the expertise behind QuickWorks. The minimalist design removed distractions and guided users intuitively toward what they needed. Thumbnails of the owners, value-led copy, and expert tone created immediate trust.

Simpler Decision-Making

Clear service breakdowns and comparison tables helped visitors quickly understand which QuickBooks support level best suited them. The ‘Buy QuickBooks’ callout box and structured plan pages allowed them to take action confidently without second-guessing. Custom forms removed friction and tailored the process to different business needs.

Higher Quality Leads

By highlighting that QuickWorks is best suited to businesses with turnover above €500,000, we filtered out low-value leads without alienating them. Strategic CTAs and benefit-driven content made it easy for qualified users to self-select and get in touch.

More Time Saved

Thanks to structured FAQs, embedded videos, and service-specific content, users can find what they need without needing to call or email. This reduced support queries and allowed the QuickWorks team to focus on onboarding and client service.

A Platform That Grows With the Business

The final site is scalable and future-proof. The team can now publish new videos, create additional service landing pages, and keep content fresh without technical support. Load speed, accessibility, and SEO structure support continued growth and visibility.
