Extra €100K from new revenue stream for Grofuse client

Digital director Denis Finnegan and his team assisted a client’s target of achieving an additional €100k of sales from a wholly new revenue stream.
The retained client of three years wanted the team to look at other revenue streams as an alternative to the heavy lifting work that his removals business carries out. This was instigated to help protect his team and promote their health and wellbeing.
The Grofuse team has been managing the firm’s on-line marketing for services they provide such as home and office relocation with excellent results.
During the early stages of the Covid-19 outbreak, an opportunity was identified by the Grofuse team for the company to provide cardboard boxes for people moving office or home.
Mr Finnegan explains: “There was very little competition online to offer this professionally. At the digital team’s request, the client sourced boxes and moving products to sell at high-profit margins and get the client on track to the targeted €100,000 in additional revenue for the year.
“An online strategy was then developed and implemented to generate the new revenue stream effectively,” he adds.
The activities involved creating a new e-commerce section on the website and online promotion using SEO and Google Shopping. Within 3 months the client was number one for high traffic terms such as ‘moving boxes’ and managed Google Shopping campaigns to show his products in the search results – generating an entirely new source of income.
This is a crucial development as the top 3 Google search results receive 75.1% of all clicks. As a result, a brand new revenue stream was successfully created for the client. This is a clear example of how the experienced team at Grofuse can pivot clients to success – even during a crisis.
